Lesson Plans and Training

Meaningful Volunteer is delighted to announce the release of its on-line lesson plans for its English Land series of books.

Volunteer programs often place untrained teachers with zero experience in developing countries with zero resources and expect them to perform miracles.  This is the very antithesis of a meaningful experience.

Here at Meaningful Volunteer, we believe in equipping volunteers with as much information and training as we can prior to their arrival. 

The release of these on-line lesson plans is the first stage of our vision. 

We now have in-depth help available for our English Land series of books and here are just a few examples of the type of resources that are available.

Audio Tracks We now have audio tracks available to assist the teachers in helping the students with their listening and speaking skills. Activity Sheets Activity sheets are available as in classroom activities. Teacher Cards Both teacher and phonic cards are available to help teach the students.
