RYE School Building Plans

Meaningful Volunteer is delighted to announce the release of the building plans for the RYE School.

The first floor of the complex will be used for the school itself.  There are four classrooms, each with a capacity of about sixteen students.  All of the windows will be barred.  The building is made secure by one large door at the front of the complex.  There is an administrative room at the front.

The second floor will be used to house up to twelve volunteers.  It contains a lounge, dining room and kitchen.

Due to funding constraints, the first floor will be built first so that we can get teaching as soon as possible.  As funds become available, we will add the second dormitory level.

The overall cost of the project - including labor, materials and site is about 646,000 Philippine Pesos (~$US 13,470).
