Program Fee Breakdown

Project Donation

The project donation portion of your fees will go toward funding the project you are involved in.  For example, if you work in a RYE School, then your fees will go toward providing books, pencils textbooks and so on.  Or, if you are involved in a reforestation project, your project donation will go toward the purchasing of seedlings.

Training

Upon arrival in placement area, you will receive a one day training session.  This will familarize you with the culture, the dos and donts, basic language training and what you can expect upon arrival.

Airport Pickup

Meaningful Volunteer will meet you at the airport and take you to some temporary accommodation before you move onto your volunteer placement.

Accommodation

The accommodation portion of your fees goes directly to the host family you'll be staying with, or towards the dormitory fees.  Your will be provided with a bed, and three meals a day.

Administration

The admin portion of your fees goes to wards the miscellaneous expenses we occur in running the programs. 

Note: Any unused administration fees will be periodically reinvested back into the projects.  Textbooks, computers and seedlings are common uses of accumulated admin fees.

Transport to Project

Meaningful Volunteer will transport you to your placement area.

Manila Tour

You will also get a day long tour of one of your country's city that will further emerse you in the culture.

Three Days Board in Manila

You will hosted in our dormitory in Manila for three days.  This will allow to overcome your jetlag and get used to the culture before moving to your placement.
