Female
21 years old

Betty was Born in Buyaya parish, Sironko district. Her family moved from Bukokoho sub county, Mbale district to Sironko district in 1993 after her father had lost his job. She has five sisters and three half brothers. Her father abandoned the mother for another wife because he believed that it was a curse for a woman to bear only girl children. Betty now lives with her mother and the five sisters in a small mud hut. They don't get any support from their father and due to lack of school fees, the three girls were not able to continue with their studies. She enjoys the computer lessons and she has learnt how to open and close the computer, draw and paint pictures, graphs, and so on. Her dream is to be a secretary because she thinks that when she gets a job as a secretary, she will earn salary and support her family. Her hobbies are music and drama. Message to any one willing to sponsor her, “ Please,I would like to get a sponsor to pay my school fees so that I can go back to school and complete my studies”.  Her wish ,“I  wish I could  to travel to Europe so that I can meet people from different walks of Life”.
