Congratulations to Meaningful Volunteer's Megin Alvarez

Meaningful Volunteer's co-founder Megin Alvarez was nominated for two awards at the inaugural Women Influences Awards that was put on by the Tricities Women's Collaborative Hub. 

Over 130 women were nominated and Megin made the finals for two categories:

  • Sustainability Award
    This was for all her fantastic work she does in both Uganda and Nepal
     
  • Caregiver Award
    In addition to her work at Meaningful Volunteer, Megin has also been a foster parent for 19 years.  Currently she has five children in her home.
