Through the generous donations of many, Brodhead Middle School students and staff members raised $849.00 to donate to School for Andy 2 in Nepal. With the week-long Penny War raising a bulk of the donation, TOOL donated a portion of the 2nd quarter dance proceeds which helped to get the total even higher. Because of this giving, School for Andy 2 in Nepal will now be the proud owner of a rain-fed water system, similar to the water system BMS raised money for last year for School for Andy in Uganda. Thank you for your donation and for your support.
This “War” allowed us in Brodhead to make a difference in Nepal and for the students at School for Andy 2.
Most importantly, it allowed us to remember Andy Manley, his spirit, and his generosity.
Thank you for sharing in the experience of all that this Penny War was.
It could not have been done without the generosity of so many.
